Costume Workshop
age 7 upwards

Costume is an important part of a performance or carnival, it can be made by both Primary and Secondary pupils with varying degrees of help.

This particular bird workshop has been designed to be used with a younger age group.
 
Materials required
- Heavy cotton or canvas
- Acrylic paint
- Paint brushes
- Water pots
- Scissors
- Stapler
- Pencil
 
 
 
 
 
 
Useful tips

 It is important to discuss the topic and allow the group to sketch some basic ideas.

 When painting make sure that you use tubs of water to help keep paint brush clean and colours clear
-
 Look at feathers in detail before painting wings.
