Mural Workshop
age 7 upwards

The mural is based on the theme “The Four Seasons” and is split into four separate paintings, working with the village/town in which the pupils live; a discussion takes place around the shape of the buildings and also the colours of the four seasons.

 
Materials required
- MDF or chipboard (cut to size required)
- A3 paper
- pencils
- acrylic paint – red, blue and yellow
- paint brushes
- water pots
- PVA
- emulsion paint
 
 
 
 
 
Useful tips
-

when painting make sure that you use two tubs of water to help keep paint brush clean and colours clear.

-
 Paint mural board with PVA mixed with emulsion, when dry follow with a coat of emulsion.
